I agree a subforum could be better however it already has provided good discussion on some of the threads and makes more people aware of the hard work that News Reporters do to keep everyone informed.

Maybe it could stay on trial for a while and then have a poll or something? Theres nothing majorally wrong with it in my opnion.
The other day I was in a toilet.
A voice came from the cubicle next to me: "Hello mate, how are you doing?"
I didn't want to be rude, so I said, "Not too bad, thanks."
I heard the voice again. "So, what are you up to?"
Again I answered, "Just having a quick ****... How about yourself?"
Then I heard him say "Sorry, mate, I'll have to call you back. I've got some **** in the cubicle next to me answering everything I say."

It sort of ruins the idea of us posting news now, because they'll be basically 2 of the same threads on it?

Most of the time the news posted is a bit un organised with poor spelling etc which is fine because it's being posted in a rush. Then the habbox reports are written well and can be classed as sort of a conclusion. often there are multiple threads with different infomation about one thing and a report can cover it all?

Obviously, ultimately it's up to the forum management etc but thats my opnion.

Slowpoke: Why are you adding it to your ignore list if you mod that section :p

Can't we have two separate sub forums?
Habbo UK news provided by Habbox Staff
Habbo UK news and rumours ~ normal members?

I think that'll be the better option.

What would be the point in that

When I did research into the readership of news, it was discovered that News didn't get read as people could simply read it on the forums. To remedy this we added an RSS feed to the News forum so our news can be beamed to the readers. Yes there may be other threads on each topics but there may not be on some. If there is a discussion already then simply just post in the original thread.

The bot has produced some good results thus far such as the discussion in the "Habbo to introduce DIY Furni" thread.

Or...the Habbox News Bot can have it's own section, where no one but the bot can post threads, but users can reply and discuss.
And then there can be a sub forum where users can post rumours.

    Everyone's happy!

I agree and actually having a subforum wouldnt change what people are complaining about - And that is of the threads coming up on the new posts. Theres loads of threads made and posts including all spam ones so a few threads from news a day won't really hurt?

I don't see how the bot infringes on the forum. I mean reporter-generated content it probably more interesting than someone copy and pasting something from Habbo.

What exactly is the issue here? What are the major problems with the bot because as Favourtism says, many people post the same thing anyway!

Probably should have it's own section. I wondered what was going on the other day with all these threads, then read "bot." It's Habbox's Official Spambot You may aswell close the Habbo News Forums and just have the bot :/
