    When I was in college I did the BTEC National Diploma in Computing, which is one up from the Certificate. I recommend taking the Diploma as you get an extra A level.

    The only difference really is the Certificate has 12 units and the Diploma contains 18 units.

    There is quite alot of work, espically if you want merits/distinctions. It is all coursework so don't worry about exams.

    I did a similar course to that last year, is it a coursework based course?

    It sounds like a load of hard work to me, but if that's the sort of thing that appeals to you then I think you should take it.

    Seems liek a good choice but think about the future =]
    Do that course and throw in another of yuor favourite subjects as a life line.

    I'd take it. If that's what you want to do then take it also. But BTEC is a lot of assignments along the way (well there is in Business Studies for me ).

    Looks good to me. I do agree with the points made about all or nothing with that course tho.
