If piracy didn't exist, we'd still be listening to 90's music because who the **** wants to pay for songs from artists they've never heard of? How will new artists get recognized?

    Youtube wouldn't survive without piracy.

Rumors are circulating that Limewire has been blocked on certain ISPs during peak times or all the time, not sure if it's true but it's worth checking out if you can't acesss limewire.

    Youtube wouldn't survive without piracy.
False, record companies upload music videos to youtube (probably some sort of deal with YouTube.)

Without piracy (not just music, videos, tv shows, etc) Youtube would be a no-name site, not as popular as it is today meaning that companies wouldn't bother uploading the videos.

If it weren't for Illegal Downloads I wouldn't have heard of iSpyStrangers, gone to their gig, liked their support acts and bought their Merch and Albums. Illegal Downloads save the Scene.

But also with piracy as it gets a bigger thing, record labels/artists wont get their money and then they will stop producing. This doesent just go for music too.
