    If this person does trace your ip they will only be able to trace you to the city/town you live in, not your address or anything.

    I beleive it tracks to your local exchange for the ISP?

    I hate to say it but for as long as you're on the internet you're always at risk. So, yes, you are.

    But, no. Skype uses a Withheld number so he can't trace you.

    Well what you do say will be recorded by the Secret Service's like every other phone call but if you said something really offensive, they could request your number if it's withheld, the police would then get your IP from Skype and then contact your ISP. It's not possible to be anonymous on the internet when your ISP Logs everything.

    Obviously no one would go to this effort for a prank call but if you continually harass people or break the law it will catch up with you eventually
