Oh this has been going around for a while. I remember when it happened to me, I tried to convince Guy A to add Guy B to make the trade. I was like "he's buying it for 10hcs, you're asking for 7hcs. Go add him." But after a while, I figured out what was happening and cursed at both of them haha

Happened to a friend I know in Runescape.

Some girl said "Buying grog (an ale/beer worth like 5gp) for a santa hat (worth like millions of gp) And then another girl came up and said "Selling grog, offer?"
My friend wanted the santa hat so she traded her rune zamarok (worth 750,000gp+) for the grog and both of them logged off.
