COD5 or Gears of War 2

Can't see how the Gears story is 'lame' to be honest. The first Gears you may have a point but no way with the second.

The Russian story in WAW is excellent but the American one in my opinion is poor. With Gears the multi player is like marmite you either love or hate it, in my case I love it. The COD multi is more of the same tbh.

Good and bad points in both games, but I'd go with Gears.

If you wanna wait 30 minutes to play a match, go for Gears 2.

If you wanna jump straight into a game, go for World at War.

lol i was the tie breaker and went for GOW2 as i believe its one of my favorite storys of all time (being beaten by half life and thats it lol)

CoD:WaW Beat GoW2 on Game of The Year, and I found Cod5 much more fun than Gow2, So I chose CoD

The first game had a much better story than the second game, I wanted to play the second because of the story from the first game, the story from the second doesn't exactly make me want to play the third game like I wanted to play the second

Yes CoD5 has a very lame story but at least the multiplayer is good, GoW2 is slow and boring, how can something be addictive but not fun? :S

Obviously CoD5 is fun if it's addictive, if it wasn't then it can't possibly be addictive
