    Photoshop in reality isn't any quicker for 'slicing' a design in comparison to paint. Sure if you actually use the slice tool then it is, but if you use marquee both are similar.

    You should use GIMP or Paint.net. Then use notepad or notepad++ to code the layout in divs. http://www.devarticles.com/c/a/Web-S...yout-with-CSS/

    Thanks on the reply's my problem is fixed, now I am working on practicing slicing, and Div coding, uhgg this is gonna be a long long night =) Thanks guys.

    Good luck mate.

    You dont need any specialist programs... any software that lets you make a selection and save images is good enough. My only advice is for anyone who uses the slice tool in photoshop just to leave it alone. use the marquee tool. less confusing once you start to use it.

    Once again good luck with the image saving and coding.
