Is it only £10? Oh not bad. Then again you have to pay about a fiver just for a passport photo. 10% off at matalan isn't enough to make me want to spend £15 to get a card lol.

The cinema and student bars and buildings I've gone to accept them as a form of ID, so it works for me

£10 really is worth it though. If you do alot of spending it all adds up...

a lot of shops give me discount with just my college card lol :8.

Some give me discount too but theres some shops that have been informed by NUS not to give discount unless they display an official NUS card Who gives them the right to do that?!

In other news, i got ID'd for a flippin scratch card yesterday. wth.

I think it's stupid how you have to pay for a nus card, you should be able to show them your college card to get discount

you can, i use my college ID insted of NUS and never been refused for it.

Here we can buy this card for $8.95 called a Student Price Card (SPC), lasts 1 year. We can get it at the start of Grade 9 through 12. THEN Continue on In University.
