Media studies is a waste of time unless you actually want to go into something media related.

What an intelligent comment. Could you explain 'doss' to me? And who cares if they're blacklisted on Cambridge's website, I think you're missing a slight necessity in life of actually enjoying yourself.

I wouldn't do media or ICT. I'd do English, Physics, Geography and I forgot what else you spoke about :8

I'm speaking from a bureaucratic point of view not an ideal one. People who want to enjoy themselves go on the dole so they don't have to work for a living. If you're going to go through education you may as well make it count.

What on earth are you on about? I want to enjoy myself in life, it doesn't mean I want to go on the dole or not work...

But what you can do, is enjoy your A-Levels mixing it with working hard. If we look at the specific topic, the creator said she'd either like to be a primary school teacher or do something related to the media. The creator didn't suggest that he/she wanted to go to Cambridge to study maths or something. All a-levels are no doubt valued, so be it more than others.

Because the point you previously made implies that less work = more fun. People rarely enjoy education, they do it, as you say, to have a better life later on. And my point is that both are highly competitive and quite specialised fields of work. Doing a bunch of random a levels because they sound fun and turning up to an interview like "hiya lol i chose these because they look fun despite the fact they have little relevance to this career choice" isn't going to make the greatest impression.
