I did this about a year ago, but I did it with tea, plus it also was a laptop. I left keys to dry for a day. Then pressed them individually until they were back to normal. Only bad thing my down key stopped working but few months back it was working again.

My old laptop had beer spilt on it loads of times and the keyboard still worked perfectly.
When I spilt some random blue drink on it though, I had to take off some of the keys and just wipe it clean, job done.

I spilt shandy on mine and they went sticky. Then some are harder to use still and crunch when you press it lol.

Can the laptop keys be taken off without breaking them?
