London has official city cabs, the big dark green ones, all over the place. You could also get the tube from near your hotel to covent garden. The hotel site says it's 10 minutes walk from the west end so it's not going to really be rough or rapey unless you plan on going south of the thames or somewhere like soho.
Ok thanks for the information , ill be getting a cab to and from the theatre, but theres the fireworks bizness, what goes on there?

Tbh, Covent Garden is absoloutly fine. Its a touristy area and there will be lots of people out because its new years. Where are you going to watch fireworks? Over the river? Because I'm gonna be there![]()
Jeesuz man, he's in the west end, i've passed that place many times cos I live in London and I can tell you that if you want rough then you should go and stay in harlesden. If you're with a mate then you'll be fine. I think the german winter fair in hyde park is still on, that will be worth it!
I was in West Minister etc today at 7AM I didn't get stabbed![]()
