Cwmbran.. I never really thought about if it was the Vodka or not. I rarely drink anything other than it, and so I don't remember if anything else caused this discomfort, but it's not like I took special notice of it before (since I thought it was normal up until my friend told me it wasn't last week). As for the other drugs, occasionally people will be smoking weed at a party, but in general the people I drink with don't smoke weed or cigarettes or anything so I'm not usually exposed to it and I think I can rule that out as a reason for the pain.

Partie, I will definitely try to eat more. It's a good general rule of thumb, I just have a habit of forgetting to eat dinner in the anticipation of going out for the night/rush of getting dressed up and end up with an empty stomach by the time drinking starts. -.- But yeah, is a stomachache part of a hangover? I mean.. I rarely get hungover (I can only remember 2 instances I'm sure I was hungover from, and both times I think I was still slightly drunk when I woke up) and I never had a headache from drinking or any of the other usual symptoms.. And the friends that I've talked to told me they don't get stomaches when they're hungover?

Soy, thanks for the warning It really is a bad habit and even though I try to do it relatively sparingly I should drink less, and that technically would solve my pain problem, lol!

Bef.. I've never heard of IBS before. From what I gathered on google though, I do have really similar symptoms, but that IBS happens for a lot of foods? Unless I have a mild case and its only alcohol specific, since I rarely get stomach aches other than cramps..

Kent - is that really true? It is true that I'm a lightweight since I weigh 105 at 5"5 and dont drink often so I dont have much of a tolerance, but I didn't think that affected it.. Besides, even the night when I drank a ton I still felt bad the next day. Worse probably, since then I was hungover too haha!

Leah and Stefy.. I never considered an intolerance. But I suppose that would make sense (and maybe it's only to vodka??). It would be kind of unfortunate if it turned out I couldn't drink at all, haha, but I suppose better in the long run!

So yeah.. Thank you guys for the input, it gave me a lot of food for thought. Definitely useful considering I can't exactly see a doctor about an issue with alcohol since I'm not 21 yet haha.

it's possible cause alcohol ***** your senses and judgement, which like being spun around makes you feel pretty ill. So when you go out and drink the spirits you might not know your tolerence not drinking much and all making you feel sick when you've sobered up..?

probs your livre n such likes cant really handle it that much and give you that as a result? Go talk to a doctor or health advisor bout it. people react differently to alcohol.

I know it impairs you, but I definitely know my limits and how much it takes to get me drunk as opposed to tipsy as opposed to the one time i had way too much gin and blacked out. But the stomachache doesn't happen right when I sober up, it usually happens 12-24 hours later...

True.. I can't talk to a doctor about it yet though, since I'm still not 21 which is the legal age for drinking in the US

They won't arrest you for pains you get when you drink, they'd examine you or whatever, doctors keep everything as confidential as possible, excepts health records that need to be stored for doctors around the world / country.

In my town, we have a clinic called "one stop shop", I'm under the legal age to have sex, but if you get a thing called a C-Card you can redeem there and get free condoms, you can also tell them about confidential life happenings and they try to help you out etc..

    Age Limits
Not everyone can drink beer legally in the UK - there's a minimum age limit as to when you can start buying alcohol. But this limit isn't clear cut.

    * If you're in a restaurant you can have a glass with a meal at the age of 14.
    * At 16 you can drink shandy1 in pubs.
    * At 18 you can start buying alcohol legally in pubs.
Infact, I have been caught by the police with my friends at least twice, they drove past on their police bike the first time and turned around to come back to us and told us to go to a safe place where we can't be taken advantage of by perverts. The second time we we're told to keep the noise down and to not drink in public, all they did was seize our vodka.

Wow! The age limit is so much lower in the UK.. I'm so jealous! We can only drink at 21 or older here, and they always check for ID. Only really really sketch places will occasionally serve you without checking for ID, but theres not many places like that, and the only places I personally have managed to get alcohol though clearly being underage (X's on my hands haha) was at a few sketchy clubs in DC. And the police are much stricter here. The only places they are somewhat lax are on university campuses, where most university's have a "3 strike rule" where you can get caught up to 3 times after which you get kicked out of school. But in areas other than at universities, I've never heard of a cop letting go of anyone caught drinking. High schools are really really strict with drinking - anyone caught gets suspended or expelled, and it really impacts you for college admissions. And yeah, I've known several friends back in high school who had the cops called on parties, and they were caught and punished for it. Although I suppose they didn't really get that strict of a penalty I don't think.. Driving under the influence is an ABSOLUTE no no here though. Getting caught with a BAC of ANYTHING over a 0 when you're 21 or under means you're auto given a DUI. But yeah.. I might try going to a doctor.. Theres no specific clinics I can go to like that one you said about condoms (we have clinics like that around here for sex issues that are confidential) but there's nothing for alcohol. Thankfully I'm over 18 so I could at least go to the doctor confidentially without them telling my parents, but idk.. I dont want to have to pay for the appointment or anything -.- But thanks for the suggestion! +rep

Definitely see a doctor, they'll probably take blood tests to check your liver, kidneys, etc but worth finding out and ruling out what it could be!

Check your family history before you go to the docs too as they might ask.

    Good luck sorting it

Goto a Doctor then, seeing as you are over the age to keep information confidential between You and the Doctor, well that's my advice.

My friend said to me, "You know your an alcoholic when you're afraid to fart", she had the same problem.
Perhaps your stomach scarred to too much consumption, try laying off the alcohol for a while, swap it for caffeine drinks?
