    A bird disabled two engines apparently. Its floating on the water as it had air in. It would slowly sink like how the car has. If its a deep river then it will all go under. The water must be freezing :/.

    Been watching Sky News since 9:15pm.
    Everyone coming ashore with their life jackets still on.

    They say the river is only 3-4ft deep at that point, so the plane will probably be stood up.

    Sailed down that river when we went there a few years ago.. pretty neat to see it again.

    Very nice work by the pilot there, glad everything is OK.

    Yeah, New York is freezing at this time of year. It seems the boats and emergency services were pretty quick. Pilots seem to do a good job on a water ditch, as it could of been worse if it damaged the main body of the plane and say snapped in two or something.

    im sorry, but i just have to laugh at sky news atm. The FAA guy came on said 'i can confirm, that the flight 1549 was involved in an accident'

    Becuase with it being America, as soon as someone says a plane has crashed a huge speculation will emerge and people will start thinking 9/11. You know what people are like for speculating.
