they probably wouldn't of just gone to the park or messed around with friends anyway due to him being a senator previously. if they did, then i doubt it would be on their own anyway due to their age. but nevertheless, that doesnt mean they still cant go to the park or have fun with friends. just because they'll be heavily protected won't mean childhood = ruined. their childhood would be nothing like ours anyway, so comparing what we do to what they may do is silly as tbh their way of life would be much greater than ours.

Honestly, I would hate to be stalked all my life, when I want fun I have to have people with me, their Boy friends, guards around them.

thats u though, not them. as i said first just because they have bodyguards or whatever doesn't mean that they cant do what they normally do. whatever that is, is left to our imagination (as we dont know 100% what they do for fun), but i doubt having more protection would ruin their childhood. being brought up as the presidents daughters/ex-president in 4 yrs or woteva would probably give them a better childhood compared to just being a senators daughter as it'll probably give them more recognition and opportunities in life. also they'd "mingle" with the US' elite children lol.

lol, why does everyone think that these are the first presidential children? many many presidents have had children in office and most of them turned out fine. :rolleyes: hell, amy carter went to PUBLIC SCHOOL when she was the president's daughter.

Lmao at the end but still im sure theres times they wished they didn't have to have guards follow them when they go to the toilet and other things.

I'm sort of glad, quite a special occasion. I've no idea if he stands any chance of sorting out any of the current crisis's, there's nothing to suggest he will but he certainly looks and sounds a president, rather impressive speech.

It's just silly comments which piss me off and the fact his race has to do with everything. It could be a good thing but I don't like how people who have never gave a **** about Politics have got all involved in it and think they know it, it could be seen as good that he's getting people involved but I don't really think so personally. Some woman in the news goes on about how great it is now Obama is president (Oh yeah I can feel the difference) and mentions how he's going to change everything and bring 'freedom'. Now that comment, just, wound me up. Black American's are as free as White Americans and it's been like that for decades now, Obama hasn't said he's going to 'free' the black people, they simply don't need it as they are free. It might well be just a silly comment made in the heat of a moment but 'Freedom', pfft. The news also said 'Its like America has been given back to the people'? That doesn't make sense? The traditional Americans are red indians, not British or Africans.

I have high hopes for Barack he seems like such an intelligent and kind hearted man and you can tell he only has Americas best interests at heart and for people saying he made mistakes during the ceremony SO WHAT?!! he's a human and ofcourse he is going to make mistakes wouldn't you if you had to go and stand infront of thousands of people?. I really support Obama and I believe that he is the only good thing that has happened to America in a long time and he has achieved so much already. :eusa_clap

We watched this at my school on a projector and it was in the auditorium and there was a sign on a post-it note saying crackers in the back.
thats how my school is.
doubt anybody would care if it was mccain.
