Hull's FA Cup fourth-round tie with Millwall kicked off on schedule this afternoon after an incident of crowd trouble before the game.
Stewards and police were quickly on hand to quell the crowd after visiting Millwall fans in the KC Stadium's North Stand attempted to break security to reach Hull fans in the East Stand.
Missiles were also seen being thrown between the rival sets of supporters.
The atmosphere had been stoked up just moments earlier as Hull paraded new £5million signing Jimmy Bullard on the pitch.
The former Fulham player was met by a chorus of boos from the Millwall fans.
Supporters in that corner of the ground were still aiming chants at each other as the game began but they were separated by a line of police officers.
