Starter edition is the stupidest thing I have ever seen. Maximum of three applications...what a waste.

Such a stupid advert Just choose Home Premium which comes with the majority of PCs and get a decent amount of features you may buy. It's easier than buying a car damn it! Honestly, it does make you wonder how many apes it took for Apple to make such a daft advert

I'm trying to think of a reason to get Windows 7 Starter, Netbooks use more than 3 apps as far as I am aware.

Surely you'd pay that extra to shut your kids up from whining about the lack of programs they can have open

For those who don't know, starter edition is aimed at developing countries to give them the opportunity to use an up to date OS on the cheap

Surprised they've bothered with the editions again, although what they have made kinda makes sense if they keep to their promise of not marketing Ultimate and only using it for promotions, you can draw a comparison to the XP editions with most of them.

I'll use Ultimate, or stick with XP for a few more years.
