What sort of computer is it?

It is a Dell XPS M1330! It ased me to insall the some Niveda? programme this morning and has sorted some issues to do with graphics but some things still do not work how they did.

Ah its a dell. Somewhere on the bottom of the laptop there should be a service tag. Find that and enter it into here:
http://support.euro.dell.com/support...=uk&l=en&s=gen
Download and install all the drivers on there (which will be specific to your laptop) and whatever problems it has should be fixed

Ahh, i have the drivers disk but my problem is i need to find out what i am specificly missing. Is their a way to search using that for what i may need?

Just install them all, it'll whinge at you if you try to install something twice so it can't do any damage. Might take a while but its definately a comprehensive way to fix the problem
