If you wanna see a specific person, and not some ugly person like Jakey (no offence) then you'll be able to see them quicker

And you don't have to crawl through MILLIONS of posts just to see what people look like, because people won't be commenting on multiple pictures, they'll just be commenting on 1, which will be at the start of the thread, so simples

Because it's so hidden away. I reckon more people would post themselves if there was a designated forum for it, you can see people have started doing it this way without a forum! People have began posting themselves in the photography/pictures forum so they can have their own thread to get peoples thoughts on their appearance.

Agreed, but you gotta have an extreme limit, and people will try and post inappropriate pictures, so just be careful

However, if it where to be anything like the spam one it may be better of not having a post count. Although saying that, not having to post in that specific thread may encourage more people to use it more and generate a bit more productiveness
Aswell as, if you deliberately post to insult you will be dealt with more heavily.
