Its windows enterprise and yes its a legal copy, I think I might try and re-install it tomorrow under a different parition and see if it accepts it then...

Basically, my version of Vista was messing up and I downloaded Windows 7 for a trial and I went searching through the Vista Parition and found another preloaded vista download on there. So I install this and went over the previous version but the thing is when I installed this new one I found it is Enterprise so my product/activation key doesn't work...

Any ideas on how I could get one?
(Oh and btw I've removed Windows 7 now)

The reason why you can't activate it is because Vista Enterprise does not connect to Microsoft's activation servers. Very large businesses usually set up their own activation servers.
