
Aich is the proper way of saying it, haich just sounds common to me.

what wod beginning with H do you know you say beginning with aitch? its like hello, you pronounce the h not jsut say ello, hard to explain lol. some people might say ello but thats because of slang
no i think he means when you spell it, wouldn't you say "aitch" or whatever?

its hard to explain what im trying to say. I know the proper way is aitch and it varies between different regions. Its how youre brought up really.
but what im trying to say is to say haitch, it makes a different noise to aitch. and when you use h at the beginning of a word you pronounce it more similar to haitch than aitch. as in:
ha-lo not ay-lo, hell-oh not ell-oh, happ-e not app-e

i tend to drop the H from all words starting with that letter. like i say (h) ello, (h) appening, (h) appy etc. etc.
the only time i'd actually like not drop the H is when i like try, and not speak naturally or whatever :S
