green dude with clock - away
green dude with no entry - busy
grey dude - offline

It's great imo, and you can hide everything like whats new, favourites and groups.

The new ones aren't that hard to remember, it uses the typical Green to Red method:

Green - Online
Orange - Away
Red - Busy

Grey - Offline.

Easier to remember, there are less complications, because technically Away, Out to Lunch and the other silly one all meant the same thing anyway, that you've sodded off from the computer for more than 10 minutes

I got the 2008 one on my windows XP PC and on my laptop I got the new 2009. I personally think it looks alright but it is a bit confusing and takes some time getting used to.

Had it for ages, you get used to it... you can change mosts things to make it like 2008 version.

tbh, it's like Vista to me

I couldn't imagine of going back to the old version, as i've just grown used to the features and style of the newer.

Also, if you look around, you'll see you can customize everything (almost) to the way you like .
