If you do it through msn there is more chance of her speaking to you beause of the lack of social confrontation. Just make sure that she isn't in a hyper mood and she'll take it well. As you have been through it you can suggest things to help her, if you want, when she goes out, ask to go to the toilet or something and go out and help her. Teachers can't exactly do anything for trying to help her can they?

I don't think you should have anything to be afraid of, if she takes your advice, you may end up being friends with her and have someone to share the problem with.

yeah she's got friends in the class that usually go out toilet with her and it would be totally out the blue for me to say i'd go and if i did it'd still be awkward, i really have no idea where to start.

no just in history she sits two seats away which is kinda annoying.
anyway she hasn't been online since i wrote this so haven't had the chance, during free period one of my friends said "wow she's actually eating" so they still reckon it's anorexia, & i told them about what i think and they just nodded. no-one seems to take her seriously except me which is a shame really but still gonna try on msn
