I just got back from seeing it. I was terrified. It is an AMAZING movie. But VERY scary.

I didn't like it, too many CG FX and the corpses looked terrible. Don't pay attention when a film says it's based on a true story, it will be the most loosely based piece of cinema.

What he said. I'm fed up with movies saying they're based on a true story because most people believe that everything in the movie is true, and this is what the directors/writers want you to think. They should say, "Loosely based on a true story."

I went to see this movie the day it came out in the UK and thought it was brilliant. It's a bit slow then jumpy in places but works really well if you grasp the storyline.

And I'm not trying to start arguements; but doesn't 'based on a true story' not say in itself that some of it is dramatized? It didn't say 'a true story'. No one can re-create exactly what happened in a true film, and even if they did it would probably be very tedious and boring to watch. Just my opinion though...
