    ah ok. i'll look around, see which repeaters will work. if that fails i'll get a new router

    sorry for double post. i should avoid mixing brands really shouldnt i?
    e.g i shouldnt get a linksys repeater?

    Well with newer devi9ces it's fine, but from the limited information i could find your router only works with specific D-Link repeaters.

    I have no idea whether that would work or not. I'd say probably no however.

    A new router would be what i recommend.

    Have you considered a bigger antenna? Could be considerably cheaper than getting a range extender or a new router.

    Any RP-SMA will connect to D-Link routers.
