They did it with Vista a while before it came out, mine came with it. They install XP on it and when Vista was released they send you a free disc; it helps shift people on from the old OS (in theory, shame Vista was worse than XP). They're going to do the same with 7, from July 1st according to this article (heard it from cnet too):

Well I'm not buying it now cause I still gotta save its going to be about another 3 months. I want to see now what I can get and what its going to cost.

Windows 7 is going to be the next OS from Microsoft. From what I seen and heard by many people that its much better then the current "Vista" OS. Good luck in finding a new computer Joe
