    Yeah, episode 58 is the start of the Benizakura arc. Get ready for some epic action! Don't forget the Amnesia arc though, that also had a longer plot than usual. The series has quite a few arc's once you get past episode 58. The creator stated in the manga that was the point he wanted to start being a bit more daring with the storylines and characters in the series, because he believed that up 'til then Gintama was only successful because it was riding on the coattails of a Shinsengumi drama that was currently airing which started around the same time Gintama did.

    You on about that sukiyaki pot episode? That was brilliant. I could never choose my favourite parody though - there are so many! Episode 50 sure had an awesome amount.
