    The use of the word argument is used quite loosely.
    Lets face it arguments can be good... heated discussions...

    It's not an argument in the sense of "i hate u" "ur mum is fat" "go die"

    day to day life consists of arguments, why can't this forum?

    'Yeah of course arguing your point is fine but when you start offending people, that's where it oversteps the boundary.' As I said above. Arguing your case is fine as long as you do it without offending people. That thread offended several people, and as a result was closed as it should have been.
