Noo, they can get a better story line out of letting archie go. If he had killed him his mum would have made him a nice dinner theyd have gone to bed and then perhaps the police would have found out and phil would face a murder charge
this way peggy can carry on getting nuttser and nuttser and when archie comes back she can kill him herself or ronnie can. It will make a much better story line
