Yes, I used it as my main OS for a few months, got bored, needed more power and finer control, switched back to Vista as my main OS, haven't looked back since.Hey, I've been downloading iDeneb 1.4 on my 100mbit VPS and it's almost done. My plan is to then zip it up and direct download it to my own PC. Anyway, has anyone done / tried to do this on a PC and what was the outcome. I'm going to try this on a new partition on my Lenovo 3000 C100 - A terrible spec laptop. Lol.
Thanks.

it is just videos by bill wurtz videos you have been warned
Installed it twice, so far:
I'm now trying again, I got my video card details and a eeepc tutorial, which I'll follow, even though it's not my make or model.
- First time with defaut settings, never worked - Had non-stop 'you need to restart' error.
- Second time with new settings but wrong video drivers, would start but after load - blue screen instead of desktop.

Im downloading it but what should I do for my wireless adapter and mouse.
You should be going over to www.insanelymac.org forums, and reading the wikis. This isn't just an install and run OS, it's not going to be perfect at all and it requires a lot of hacking around to get it to run how you like it. It's not worth it tbh.
Ok, iDeneb doesn't have the GCard driver I needed so I'm downloading iPC now as that has the driver, apparently. Wish me luck.

I just booted my computer with the iPC disc in and when I get to were would you like to install it the only thing that pops up is the disc thats in my computer so what do I do?
I don't think people realise you have to be competant at installing OS' that were made for your computer before you go and try and install OSX. If your not tech savvy, its not something you would want to try.... so much can go wrong.
You need to format the partiton you made by going into disk manager in the install disk. If you're getting stuck at this point then seriously give up.
Indeed, I researched for a long time on this and now I know exactly what to do.

I done it then it said restart so I did then it come up a black screen with the apple logo on it. So I decided to start a fresh of xp.
OSX works on my desktop with SATA drives (not IDE) but I just need a bigger HDD.
Never argue with an idiot, he'll drag you down to his level, and beat you with experience.
