Many Catholics (including high priests) actually don't take every story in the bible for face value or that each one physically happened in time - many are metaphorical stories and tales that portray a meaningful message in one way or another - with Adam and Eve being just that.

God, you really need to grow up and realise that not every word in the bible is set for in stone and has to be taken literally.

As I have made perfectly clear already many catholic officials believe that the majority of - and in particular the story of adam and eve - are not to be taken on a literal basis, but more on a metaphorical one.

You clearly are still failing to comprehend this very simple and competent issue.
