Vegeta's voice didn't change, there are two different dubs for Dragon Ball Z. The one in the video you just watched is Funimation's dub, which I personally think is better. You're probably watching the Ocean dub. Here's a comparison between the two using that scene. Vegeta's voice in the Ocean dub just doesn't do it for me. Originally Posted by Jord

ahh Yeh Im watching Ocean dub then :p Im watching it on megavideo so its weird because the episodes are like
"DBZ 001" nothing else so I gotta watch see if its sub or dub etc
its annoying
