Apparently AT&T let slip again, like they did with the 3G that there will be a new model.

It depends how much use you'll get out of it in the next month or 2 really, and weigh up if that justifys missing out on the newest one.

I have to say that I do prefer my Android OS on my G1 over my iPhone OS on my iPod Touch.

If anything the actual iPhone OS is slightly slower than the iPhone OS on the iPod touch, but still, there are some things you can't do on your G1, that you can do on your iPhone/iPod Touch.

@Someone above; MMS is availably as a free download from the appstore? :S

With the mms app you need a code o2 sends u in an text to ur phone, then u put it into the app, then the app downloads the picture from the o2 website and u get it, you cant send mms messages either.
With the update youll be able to get mms straight to ur inbox and be able to send mms messages too.
