i left it at the mrs' house, it's pretty much always there so i thought nothing of it. just use this as a reminder (if you are a car owner) to always take everything of value with you when leaving your car, even if you have a decent alarm or any other safety features.

    gutted tbh.
It's not always practical to take your sub and stereo with you when you leave your car. In the states most after-market stereo systems have a detachable faceplate so the stereo is useless to thieves without the faceplate. My Honda has a anti-theft system on the radio as well, if I disconnect the battery I need to enter a code to get the radio working. When I did the navigation upgrade on my last Accord I didn't get the code with it so I had to get the VIN# from the donor car and I had to prove to Honda that the unit wasn't obtained from a chop-shop. I've had people "break-in" my cars before (I left it unlocked) and take stuff like my FM transmitter or money from the console but nothing serious. Our 745 was stolen once, but that was my fault because I left a key in my jacket and my jacket was in the unlocked car (oops) It was found the next day with the key still in it, my jacket still in the back, my iPod in the glove compartment and not damaged. It's violating to know that somebody has touched your personal property!
I'm at a point in my life where I don't care if you like me or you don't. If you like me, cool. If you don't, meh.

My little adopted sister steals from us a lot recently. She stole my chewing gum and my iPod Touch. Got it back though. Happens again and the ***** will be moving out.
