That's only the default skin though? :S
Surely all older skins will still work/look the same?

vBulletin has a unique look to it (well, version 1, 2 & 3 do) and that's a contributing factor as to why I like the software, and I'm sure other people like it for this reason too. But that new look is horrible, in my opinion. I hope you can choose to use the old style.

I don't like it either, but it may well be something that grows on you once you get accustomed to it!

I think it's nice but there's one thing which is throwing everyone off track. It's the over sized icons which look completely out of place with the new text size. If anyone get's a copy any time soon do try changing the icons to a smaller/nicer set and I'm pretty sure you'll like it.

Overall it's nicer than the current default design but I'm pretty sure the move from the older vBulletin had the same feedback in terms of design.

Oh wow vBulletin have gone in totally the wrong direction, and if their codebase is anything to go by for this release, they will keep losing their userbase to a better solution (See: IP.Board, go here to look at the fabulous beta: http://forums.invisionpower.com/)

Once again they fail to impress me with their design, and I'm sure they'll fail to impress me with their features. The sooner vBulletin dies the better, even phpBB is better, and phpBB is pretty much rock bottom crap.

Don't know why so much emphasis is put onto the default theme. Surely it's a bit narrow minded? There will be custom skins for it PDQ.

I'm looking forward to seeing what the other template changes are.
