you're buggerd mate.
My girlfriend last year said the same to me about a month before our GCSEs. She said she "needed space" and wanted a "break". About a week later she officially broke up with me. And we never really talked to each other since... So yeah, I guess it's pretty much over for you as well.

Exactly. My girlfriend last year said the same to me about a month before our GCSEs. She said she "needed space" and wanted a "break". About a week later she officially broke up with me. And we never really talked to each other since... So yeah, I guess it's pretty much over for you as well.
All of this "need space to think" or "space for exams" business is ********. If that's what she wanted, that's what she would ask for. Asking for "a break" is either because she is a ***** and can't stand to be single (so will use you as the rebound boy if her new guy fails), or because she is too ***** to break up with you the good old fashioned way.
When your partner tells you that the "Break" is over, don't get back with them.
It obv. means that their other relationship had failed.

It means your girlfriend doesn't want to be your girlfriend anymore.
