Very good advice - I did the same and ended up in a cast for weeks longer than it should have been.

Wow that seems to be exactly where my foot was hurting, I have rested it since I made this thread and it has improved a lot. I only notice it a bit now if I walk to hard. Bet if I started running it would go back to square 1 though :/. I'm gonna look achilles tendon injury up. Thanks.

Ah, that doesn't sound right... I'd go see like a doctor about that, and maybe get an xray on it.

But I might be sounding a bit dramatic.

I'd go get it checked out, just to be sure. My brother hurt his ankle when he was younger, he just sprained it and it hurt for a bit and then it went away, a few weeks ago he had an operation because it turnt out a cyst grew in his ankle becuase it messed up the bone or something..

Definately get it checked out, it could just be the ligaments or something but better to be safe than sorry!

I suggest you use icepacks (bag of frozen peas!) before you go. Take it easy.
If it doesn't go away and if its shooting pains then itl probaby be fractured - at worst.

It sounds to me like a badly bruised bone.
    Cakes and ale' are synonymous.
