Also some teenages are raped, but don't want to kill what could be a perfectly good baby.

Other things is like they could be tricked in a sense that they want to have a baby when they're really not ready, because teenagers don't quite fully understand everything yet.
I think they should be able to grasp that having a baby is going to change their life. I think a lot of them do realise that but they don't really care. The group at our school think having a baby and getting out of school is much better than sticking around and getting their qualifications.

I'm sure you can think of other reasons too. That's just a few from the top of my head. I don't agree with all of them. I'll post what I think once I've seen what a few of you have come up with.

    Because sex is gooooood!!

Benefits do seem like a contributing factor to some of these teens... Quite worrying really...

I've found that some teenagers have a hard life and just want something to love that will love them back unconditionally, they feel something is missing in their life and hope that a baby will change that.
Peer pressure, drugs and alcohol are all factors that contribute to teenage pregnancies as well I think.

I have several friends who had babies young but they're still great mothers to their children although a few of them I've spoken to about it say they wished they'd waited, even though they love their child and are happy to have them.

Teenages like to have sex, hormones see to that.
Teenagers generally want to rebel (thanks again to hormones)
Rebelling often involves drinking, drinking combines with hormones to inpair decision making even futher.
Teenages do what they want (sex), even without the equpiment (condoms) which thanks to drink and hormones seems like a great idea at the time.
    = teenage pregancy.

Solution, better sex education more focused on general info about sex rather than ether some wishywashy uninformative noncence or pointless scare tactics (biology is better at the game)
Give out condoms free, if they have condoms when they follow there biological impreative's there far more likely to use em.
    Result = less teen pregancy

Might be lack of sex education, like in America they show you how to put condoms on false penises etc, and I'm in year 10 and I've only done 1 sex ed class which was in PSE and it was about 5 months ago, I've had to learn everything myself.
That's why we seize the moment, try to freeze it and own it, squeeze it and hold it cause we consider these minutes golden.

Theres about 25 girls in my school right now that either have a baby or are pregnant right now.
Id say it just them being dumb and thinking that it cant happen to them, when in reality, it can.
    1. Jeremy 1129 up, 295 downA named based on the biblical name Jeremiah. Used as a name for children who are blessed with a large brain and/or penis. Also used as a replacement for "perfect".
We had a child and it had a very large penis so we named it Jeremy.

I don't think most people that had been raped would want to have a baby that has a Father that's a rapist. I'm not really sure if it's lack of sex education, we've only had 1 lesson in it and it was just how to put a condom on. I don't think a lot of the teachers are comfortable teaching it. People could also be doing it for the free benefits as well.
