    Smash a £140 DVD Drive - or - find an alternative way to attempt to open it.

    I'll go with the latter.

    If it isn't an important disc you can try flick it up so it smashes and is in pieces then no longer jams the disc drive If you take the thing out of the actual case you said it doesn't have screws? That's weird, surely there must be another way to open it.
    That's why we seize the moment, try to freeze it and own it, squeeze it and hold it cause we consider these minutes golden.

    Open it for the little bit you can and try to poke a paper clip inside to flick the cd down/up so the drive can openly freely. If you are good with computers, remove the drive and shake it around a little to move the disk.
    If it doesnt work, a bit of extremely rough handling should free the disk or youd need to take it into a shop.

    By the way: I hate your damn signature. I misclicked with my damn laptop and its SO ANNOYING.

    That's why its there

    I've tried;

    Sticking a paper clip in
    Sticking a screwdriver in
    Hitting it off desk
    Shaking it up and down

    Hmm. Well thats all you can do really. Either take the casing off and unscrew it without fiddling with wires or take it to a PC shop to get it removed. Either way it may cost you a little money.
