    It f***ed up my speakers and vista glazz stopped working with it. Just system restored it..

    When I installed it 30 odd GB was freed up on my HDD - odd.

    There were reports of people recovering up to 80GB of space, it runs some kind of cleanup utility from what i've read.

    I installed it about a week ago and I don't know whether or not its me, but my PC seems to run a lot smoother now with less crashes.

    Do you have to have SP1 installed to install this?

    After having microsoft fumble around with my computer they still couldn't get it to install SP1 so you know...

    I believe you need to have all available important updates (including SP1) installed to install SP2

    I installed it ages ago, it does make quite a difference All it did that was annoying was re-set my speakers to the built-in ones rather than the Creative Soundcard, but all you have to do is set them to default. Easy.

    I installed SP2 earlia today and so far the ONLY difference I have found is that my speakers have become much quieter... Thanks Microsoft (Y)
