No, N.Korea aren't afraid. We know that after they continued to fire missiles after warnings. The US know if they stop a ship it could trigger violence but they said they will stop any ship because of the trafficking of mass destruction weapons. N.Korea said they will fire and I can bet you as soon as a US/S.Korea stops a ship and Kim Jong knows then I feel they will launch a missile or two. They have already fired over Japan so they know what their doing, just not what they're getting themselves into.

Yeah well we'll see but how can you say North Korea isn't afraid? For the past 60-70 years all they've done is captured a US Warship and shot the occasional South Korean soldier. If they weren't afraid, do you not think they might of actually done something more to provoke a war?

Well they could be afraid but very well at hiding it. At the moment they are acting like nothing matters and as if they're not scared of getting bombed by the US but yeah they could be hiding the fact they are afraid. Let's just wait and see what happens when the US arrive there. China have also said they are losing patients with N.Korea who are allies.

The most scariest things is NKorea can just drop a nuclear bomb and it would affect the whole world, nothing would grow. It's dangerous having someone like him in charge. Luckily US have 24/7 air suvalliance over NKorea.

    And now the US saying

US Army Chief: 'We Could Fight North Korea'

America could fight a conventional war against North Korea if necessary, even while different types of conflict continue in Iraq and Afghanistan, the head of the US Army has said.

US would be prepared to take on North Korea's army

When asked whether the US would be prepared to fight if war broke out between South and North Korea, General George Casey said: "The short answer is yes."
He added: "We'd move forces as rapidly as we could get them prepared."
The US has around 28,000 troops stationed in South Korea and has a long-term commitment to help defend the country.
But there are no plans to send more forces there, even after North Korea's recent nuclear and missile tests.
Defence Secretary Robert Gates said the situation has not reached a crisis level and does not warrant a build-up of US troops.

It would normally take the army about 90 days to prepare for a new conventional war, General Casey said.
He said it would take time to "shift gears" away from the type of war the army is engaged in elsewhere, but the US Army is a "combat-seasoned force" which can change tactics quickly.
North Korea warned it might attack its neighbour after South Korea announced it was joining a US-led campaign to stop the trade in weapons of mass destruction.
The move came a day after the North carried out its second nuclear test and said it was no longer bound by the armistice which ended the Korean war in 1953.
Meanwhile, US intelligence officials have spotted activity at a North Korean military facility that has them "kind of worried", according to Fox News.
The activity at the Sanumdong research and development complex is consistent with that observed before the launch of the Taepondong-2 missile in the past, the officials said.
They are concerned about speculation North Korea may be preparing to move a warhead by rail.

REPORTS NKOREA FIRED ANOTHER MISSILE OFF THE EAST COAST AFTER UN GIVE THEM A WARNING

North Korea will take "self-defence measures" if the UN Security Council punishes it for a nuclear test - as Pyongyang fires another short-range missile.

The rogue state conducted its second atomic experiment on Monday before a series of missile tests.
Reports said another missile has just been fired off its east coast.
The nuclear test sparked international condemnation and a swift move by the Security Council for a new resolution against Pyongyang.
"If the UN Security Council makes further provocations, we will have no choice but to take additional self-defence measures," a North spokesman said.
