In terms of the motion control stuff:

Ps3>Wii>Xbox (that's coming from someone who prefers the Xbox to the others). PS3 and Wii's are similar but the PS3 has better hardware to support it. Microsoft's idea is going to be practically impossible to incorporate into any existing genre. It's a nice bit of technology though.
    Seriously.

It isn't impossible to incorporate at all, if you can put FPS games on the PSP, DS and the Wii you can do it with Natal, you'll be amazed what they can come up with, imagine the use of it with RTS games, like Endwar? Full voice commands, press around the screen to bring up different menus, it would work for alot of genres really well, maybe not games like GTA and Crackdown but party games, racing games, RTS, FPS, RPG and sport games would all work easy with it, obviously only if the games designed with Natal in mind.

I don't see how any of this could actually work. If you can elaborate as to how any of this is practical solely using this control method I'd be glad to hear it. How does a user move from point A to B? If this can even be done, how can you prevent it from becoming a chore?

Another thing I don't like is how it removes an essential tangible object as to what you're trying to accomplish. Trying to steer a wheel using only your hands is not better than the use of an actual wheel. Especially if you factor in the stiffness, resistence and the weight.

After watching microsofts show I really thought theirs was the best but then Sony's show came on and it blew me away, brilliant games, brilliant gameplay, cut straight to the point and gave me genuinely around 4 to 5 wow moments unlike microsofts 1-2. Im an xbox gamer but I think after that show I will be buying both a psp go and a ps3, well done Sony.

EDIT: o and about natal, as great as it may seem and it does seem great it will never have the precision of wii motion plus and ps motion as it has to actual point to track. And as Sony rightly said how will FPS's and alike work without buttons for immediate clicks? they cant tbh, ok so natal can sense a flick of the wrist just fine but im sure it wont be 100% accurate and would leave gamers frustrated when at that critical point it fails to recognize their action, just like Sony said buttons are critical in gaming.

Luckily both MS' and Sony's devices are early in development stage. I'm sure they'll be a lot better upon release.

didnt watch the MS one. But Sony -> Nintendo

I already knew about SMB Wii, Galaxy 2 was a bit of a suprise and thats about it.

Where as i was one of these people who were confused over MGS Rising. But MGSW was a suprise and MAG looked good aswell among other games that were shown.

    Sony > Nintendo > Microsoft

Sonys conference was good. They had the PSP GO to show and the PS Remote looked decent.

Nintendos showing was also good. No new hardware but a nice array of games, Mario Galaxy 2 and Metroid were my faviroutes. Miyamoto also said after the conference that Zelda for Wii is coming along nicely and will support MotionPlus. He also said that Nintendo is working on new motion control systems and what Microsoft has done is "nothing new", hinting that Nintendo has already experimented with it.

Microsofts showing wasn't bad but it seemed to me many of these "brand new titles" we knew about. After the conference I was excited about ODST, Fall of reach and MGS:Rising (MGS Mainly). However now I know MGS:Rising isnt developed by Kojima and he said its a spin off its only ODST and Fall of reach that I'm excited about now. Halo 3 was a big dissapointment for me so Im slightly concerned about these 2 titles. Natal for me was a big gimmick that will not work.
