Adopt a child?

One of my friends' mothers has adopted a child alongside her biological children and it's very awkward. The girl doesn't like her adopted sister and thinks shes somehow intruding on her family and is getting more attention/love because she (The adopted kid) had a rough childhood.
I wouldn't personally have my own kids and adopt as well, but everyones different.

I would. If it was a child, I would let them know straight off that they were adopted, I think it would make it a lot easier down the road. I would like to adopt an older kid, like maybe 10 or 12, I would be an awful role-model, but they kid would have a lot of fun hahah

I would prefer a baby so I can teach him my own way, choose his lifestyle etc and teach him my language. But yh, I would be terrified to tell the adopted child because what if he/she will hate me or run away... I suppose thats low chances but still...

Oh and regarding the noobish question about Jess (so typical) I did find out like a few mins after I posted x

I woulnt adopt, as the fact that id rather have my family being in my blood

erm because im scared of pain, so childbirth scares me to death I always thought I would adopt, but then, I wouldn't feel the same with an adopted child as I would a child of my own so i'm still undecided.
