They were failing already so they decided to get even less premier league games with Sky getting 5 out of the 6 packages rather than the 4 they had before hand. You just don't compete with Sky, it's stupid.

Why is everyone bashing Setanta on here? They tried to open up domestic football to the public via a small subscription fee yet people still have some sort of profound love for Sky?
Sky hooks you in on a contract with an essay of smallprint and is a multi billion dollar monopoly which has ruined sports as it seems now on top of your TV liscence you have to pay extra to watch most sports.
Id rather give my money to Setanta than that aussie tyrant Murdoch any day of the week.something.
