You use theWhich is why I said contextIf someone was just blindly swearing like a girl on heat, I'd say "Do stop swearing, you're making no sense". That isn't against the rule, because that's opinion. The rule states don't point out the rules to people (basically) and saying "Don't swear" isn't against any written rules
It's the same with I hate PS3s and I love 360s opinions. Opinion, not written rules
too much. Anyone would think you're making a move on me

Thats PROBABLY because:
1. We don't sit there pressing F5 every 2 seconds to check for reported posts.
2. Theres a lot more to deal with that just reported posts.
3. We have to check other threads and read through them, not just the reported ones.
4. Only Jess was here for the past week or two, Paul is sort of away for exams and I was way for personal reasons. (I'm back now, woohoo).
5. We have to be active in the community aswell, taking part in threads etc
They are always dealt with. Even if it takes 3 seconds or 3 hours, as long as it's not extreme like a week, does it really matter? The normal mods can't see post reports either so Jess was doing them by herself, then she was 'hacked' so Matt and Garion did some (and it isn't their job). Then I came back and Pauls been doing some aswell.
Nvr, Garion and Matt are more than happy (afaik) with the time it takes to do things, because they know it's a lot more than post reports.

Okay simple reason,
Guy 1: Why don't you all diez lolz.
Guy 2: Please don't be rude.
Guy 1: Shap guy 2 your a ***** and your mum is fat cow.
Guy 2: Why don't you go **** yourself you stupid **** * **8*
Now in the interest of being fair we need to take actions against both people.
When your a moderator it's a lot easier to take the abuse given back to you especially as you can warn, infract and ban people.
But when your a normal user you are more inclined to retaliate to a provoking reply. This is how arguments are caused and we get several pages of people just being rude and swearing.
To put things in perspective, if you see a house being burgled or a car being broken to, you would be wise to phone the police rather then get involved yourself.
Even if it does take 3 hours to sort out, the post is not going to go anywhere and will eventually be dealt with by people who have the powers to deal with such users.

But you telling them isn't going to make them stop, so why bother?
