Can someone actually tell me the physical difference with Swine Flu and Normal Flu, i got flu at Xmas, body ached, felt sick when i moved, headaches etc
I doubt it will be as dangerous as normal flu, because it kills 10s of thousands every year. But in terms of spreading, more chance of lightning? Not really, it's spreading at a fast rate, god knows what will happen when autumn/winter gets here.At the rate of spread, this could very well be almost as dangerous (but not quite as its much more mild) than normal flue, within the next 5-50 years.. Oh noes.
The whole swine flu thing is a little ridiculous, your more likely to die from being struck by lighnig than even catch it at current.
Don't speak too soon. I think a lot of people from this thread when swine flu was first reported are currently eating their words, including me.

If 100,000 cases a day occurs then it could become a problem because if the NHS doctors and GPs are affected then they can't go to work and we won't have anyone to help us or anyone who is ill.
But lets focus on the end of this month through August and see what happens.
We actually already had swine flu many many years ago.
No need to panic. Thousands die all round the year because of the flu so it's not as if suddenly the world is dropping dead from SF
Well if what they say, 100,000 cases a day in the UK then it wouldn't be long until most if not all people in the UK are affected. Not even counting worldwide.
it's a bit more full on. you generally feel like you can't move and can't look at lights without passing out. i had it for like 2 weeks.
i think the worse part of swine flu is the whole quarantine thing, it is boring as hell.
i think 7 aussies have died from this flu. So they are not the only person to have died.
