Should Spam have an age limit?

There's no need to talk about sexual stuff anyway, if it's truly needed it can be put into teen life. I'm sure we could post on here without feeling the need to get all sexually hyped up and have to swear and insult all the time because like you say it's a habbo forum so what would you benefit from acting in such a way?Look at your sig for instance, if these things are going to be quoted (and edited in your case ) then what's the point in enforcing this when it's hardly "protecting" younger audiences. Spam isn't even there for insulting each other and being sexually explicit, it's there to discuss things which don't fit into any other categories and I'm not even being hypocritical I know that's what I use it for but I'm just saying that it shouldn't be restricted to other members because some people want to act like sex obsessed little babies. Just from looking at it's current state the 13/14 year old members probably act more mature than the 18+ ones anyway

It's not impossible but I actually believe the spam forum is fine at its current state. Yes it has its moments from time to time and that's why we have the Moderators to deal with the situations that occur.

Some of your points were valid, some of them were just immature digs. But yeah I get your point, and thats why I'm sort of sceptic now on the whole idea of a age rating on Spam in the first place, thus why I suggested maybe put it to a certain amount of time you have to be registered before you can post in Spam.

I guess that'd seem more fair, for the sake that determined trolls wouldn't get in and just cause the same old problem they caused on (banned) accounts they once used.

I can't see how it would be possible to enforce, without people lying, over the internet? There is no way you can prove how old you are unless you physically met the person and they had solid proof of ID, like when you sign up for a bank or something.

What would you say on a 16+ or 18+ section instead of restricting spam? I know they did it on habmate but I can't remember how exactly it went, like the system you had to do before getting it, you'd have to ask Catzsy. I don't think management would ever go for it though because you can't really tell if someones telling the truth about their age or not. I think we should be allowed gender forums at least :eusa_ange

Ok, it's possible to set an age restriction, but it's still impossible for someone to prove their age over internet, and therefore impossible to enforce unless they went to the extremes of visiting every person that wants to use the spam forum.

Simple answer... No. The spam forum is harmless, I don't get your point that it should be 11+? The forum is, effectively a teen forum (although Habbo fail at life and don't realise that teens start in their teens i.e. thirteen) and anything mentioned in the spam forum is hardly graphic material. Restricting any part of the forum, which has been suggested before, would be impossible to enforce and a waste of moderators time.
