Yeah, I like my MacBook Aluminium (13") for £670. Not a massive fan of OS X tbh, but it does.

I got White macbook 13" 4gb ram, 320gb hdd, C2D for £620

. I perfer the white to the aluminum tbh

Same, to me, it seems more "classic" Apple, I wanted a MacBook for years and then they bought out the Alu ones, the White one was more satisfying to get

Portability is ruined if you get a huge one like that IMO

Yes. If you get a laptop get a fairly small one. If you want a big screen get a desktop. The whole point of a laptop is to take it with you to places. If it's never going to move get a desktop.
