    Maybe you could look on ebay? Sometimes you can get some quite good deals on there as long as you don't mind it being slightly burnt out

    You could go cheaper on the DVD drive and the case and get an even better graphics card than that actually!

    4870? With budget PCs I tend to get a fairly cheap case.

    I'm not clued up on model numbers, it just stands to reason that if you save a couple of quid on parts that you can go cheap on, you can put it towards improving other parts

    Incidentally, what are the pentium dual cores like?

    Not exactly, gaming PCs are computers designed to run games at near-to-top-spec - thus the reason they're gaming computers. They're not designed to be top-spec for the sake of it, otherwise they're just impressive, super computers (or whatever the wording is, too tired ).

    And I'll answer my own question, Tescos did once sell Mesh computers and they are very good for quite a good price The only downfall is that Mesh have terrible customer service, but people very rarely use customer services/help centres so no biggy
