Maybe Opera would want their software on Windows 3.x, 95, 98, Me (2000) as well? God they are stupid.
Never argue with an idiot, he'll drag you down to his level, and beat you with experience.

Microsoft should be allowed to exploit their market power as much as they want in my opinion.

I don't get why Microsoft can't just ship with IE, people choose their own browsers anyway :S It's not anti-competitive, it's just convenient :/
True, plus those who stay with IE probably don't care what they're using and probably appreciate having the built in browser.

But having said that I still think it's nice to have the initial choice (even though the browser selector appears to be running in IE).
I'm not crazy, ask my toaster.

I like this actually, it means some noobs might, just might pick another web browser other than IE. This is good news in my opinion.

it's anti competitive that ms ships xp, vista and w7 out with just ie because of doesn't give other browsers a chance. It's like the whole windows media player thing all over again, ridiculous if you ask me. Windows develop all 3 things and so it's only normal that they ship their products with their other products.

Sodenote, is ie includes with macs?

The EU is ******ed, it's Microsofts own product. They should be allowed to ship it with whatever they want to. If I was Microsoft I would just say okay Europe you aren't getting Windows 7.

Also this is not even the full story. Microsoft won - it was supposed to be Windows 7 'E' but then Microsoft had this idea so the told the EU the EU accepted and now Microsoft Windows 7 is shipping with IE8 and then this screen comes up VIA and update.
