Find someone who actually likes you for you and hence doesnt mind any clingyness. That or take then other advice, pretend to be something you not and get a realtionship to last a tiny bit longer despite it being doomed from the start and not really a lot of fun "/

The last girlfriend I had, dumped me for being clingy, despite her being the one who constantly texted me to go on msn, go to her house, and meet up with her every lunch even if I didn't want to lol.

If your being too clingy, you must be holding her hands a lot, or having your arm around her waiste too much so I would probably stop all of that. Those are the things I think my girlfriend saw as being too clingy.
